This kit adapts 86 or 87-89 944T brake components to the CB dropped disk BJ spindle. The hubs are modified to take T1 bearings and stock beetle grease seals. The spindles require a significant amount of machining to mount the caliper. The spindle will no longer be able to take stock T1 components. Offset increase of the brakes is 13mm per side.
The kit included machining of YOUR of your hubs to take beetle bearings, fabrication of two caliper brackets, machining of YOUR spindles to accept the caliper bracket, installed German bearings and all required fasteners.

944NA on SB/BJ/Thing

This kit adapts 83-85 944 NA hubs and disks (front mount) to a BJ/Super/Thing spindle. Since the 944 bearings are larger than the stock beetle, bearing spacers are employed to make the hub fit onto the T1 spindle. The spacers are a shrink-fit onto the944 hub and machined for beetle bearings/seals. No spindle mods are required for the caliper bracket. Offset increase is +13mm per side. Please send YOUR core hubs to VdubEngineering for machining. They will be returned with machined and ready to go, with bearing races installed, bearings/seals provided (Made in Germany), caliper brackets, hardware and instructions. The machining take about 4-12 weeks, but please inquire for current turnaround estimates. Your will require the use of 83-84 944NA rotors and calipers (not included).

944T Brakes on CB dropped disk BJ spindle
This kit adapts 86 944T brake components to the CB dropped disk BJ spindle. The hubs are modified to take T1 bearings. Grease seal adaptors allow the use of stock beetle grease seals (PN: 113 405 641B).
The spindles require a significant amount of machining to mount the caliper. The spindle will no longer be able to take stock T1 components.
The kit included machining of YOUR of your hubs to take beetle bearings, fabrication of two caliper brackets, maching of YOUR spindles to accept the caliper bracket, installed TIMKEN bearing races and all required fasteners. This kit is available is two offsets to meet your particular setup.

44 Turbo brake Kit for T2’s
This kit adapts early turbo (T) Porsche 944 front brakes to a Type II (T2) spindle. You will require the use of 944T calipers, 944 ’86 only hub, and 944 ’86 only front rotors.
The kit includes bearing spacers which are required to mount the Porsche hub to the T2 spindle. The bearing spacers are manufactured from 6061T6 aluminum. The 944 hub is unmodified and uses standard 944 (same as T2) bearings. The hub, disk and caliper are standard 944 items and are not included in the kit. The caliper bracket is manufactured from steel and bolts to the stock spindle with no spindle modifications.
The kit includes 2 inner bearing spacers,2 outer bearing spacers, 2 caliper brackets, all required hardware (metric Grade 10.9) and special grease seals.

944 Brake Kit for T2’s
This kit adapts early normally aspirated (NA) Porsche 944 front brakes
to a type II (T2) spindle.
The kit includes bearing spacers which are required to mount the Porsche
